A digital proof is more than just a preview of the final result. It is the moment when your client checks whether everything is correct before the design is finalised. Collect specific corrections
When a client wants something changed, a comment can be added directly to the proof. Markers can be used to indicate exactly which position or element the correction refers to. This avoids lengthy descriptions and makes it easier to implement the requested changes correctly. Feedback from multiple client contacts can also be collected within the same review.
Present the corrected version again
Once the changes have been made, you add a new version to the existing design. The updated proof remains connected to the previous version and the review history. Your client can check the new version again and provide additional feedback if necessary. This process can be repeated until all corrections have been completed to the client’s satisfaction.
Record final approval
When the final proof is correct, it can be approved. This creates a clear endpoint for the review instead of relying on a separate email somewhere stating that the design is approved. In projects containing multiple proofs, individual designs can be completed first before the entire project receives final approval.
